Amazing Mondays is an eclectic homeschool support group/co-op for Columbus, Georgia and surrounding areas. We meet weekly at Northside Recreation Center (2010 American Way, Cols, GA 31909) on Mondays from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
The current schedule is:
11:00 to 11:15 am Host sets up tables in room & prepares project materials.
11:15 to 11:55 am Project (host)
11:55 to Noon Restroom break/prepare for Physical Fitness
Noon to 12:30 pm Physical Fitness (All Parents and children must wear sneakers/tennis shoes and participate together.)
12:30 to 1:30 pm Lunch together (bring your own); fellowship; free play for kids; parent question and answer/support time.
Absolutely NO drop offs! This group is open to ANY and ALL homeschool families. We meet August through May. Each family takes turns coordinating one field trip per year and must host a group project a couple of times per year. The projects are various and different, including but not limited to science experiments, art, math games, history, and nature. Approximate ages are 7th grade and under. Each family must provide their own lunch and their own supplies each week. Supplies & pertinent info are posted on this Amazing Mondays yahoo group. You must be a member to access this group. Supplies are posted by the host by noon Thursday for their project the following Monday.
